Our Experience

NJ's longest operating recording studio, PROUDLY since 1978!

Shorefire Recording Studios is located just blocks from the Atlantic Ocean in beautiful Long Branch, New Jersey. Owned and operated for the past 31 years by lifelong jersey shore musician/producer/audio engineer, Joe DeMaio. The studio is designed with four isolation areas surrounding the live tracking room which is the largest in the area at 48'x 38' x 24' and is ideal for live ensemble tracking. For over 48 years Shorefire has established a reputation for producing high-quality recordings for a wide range of artists.

Our Services

We offer a comprehensive range of services, including recording, mixing, mastering, and production. Our state-of-the-art equipment mixed with our love of the best vintage gear ever made, ensures that your music sounds nothing less than SPECTACULAR! The centerpiece of the control room is the Helios console aka, ‘Big Brownie’ and was the last Helios console ever made, it features 40 input x 32 buss x 32 monitor. Helios consoles were used by some of the BIGGEST names in rock including Led Zeppelin, The Rolling Stones, The Who, and Deep Purple to name just a few. Even The Beatles owned a Helios console at Apple Studios!
