"I've been recording at Shorefire for many years and I'm always amazed at Joe's depth of knowledge regarding recording techniques and gear. I wanted a "Ringo-esque" drum sound and Joe pulls out the exact mics Ringo used at Abbey Road studios, positions them on a 60's era Ludwig kit according to Abbey Road studio specs and then broke out tea towels to put over the drum heads. I mean come on! Where are you gonna find someone with that level of commitment to his craft. The huge tracking room, the Helios console, all the vintage mics and gear...what else can I say, I love Shorefire! I will never go anywhere else."
